How should the Hubmen set their rotation for the state tourney?

Having to play possibly three games in the span of three days, how do you think the Hubmen should set up their pitching rotation in the state tournament? Do they start with T.J. Oakes in the first game. Oakes has had a good year on the mound, and gives Jordan its best defensive lineup with Steven Beckman at shortstop and Joe Lucas at third base? If they do that (which is likely) what do they come back with in the second game? The second game would be at 5:30 that same day if they win. Do they come back with Joe Lucas to try and get them in the championship? Or do they go with Steven Beckman. Oakes and Lucas have been the team's most utilized pitchers, but three games in two days might call for a Beckman outing. What do you think?

I think you go with Oakes...
Back to page topI think you go with Oakes for the first game and then Lucas for the 2nd. Although I wouldn't have a problem switching that. Then You'd probably go with Beckman in the championship game for as long as he can go. And then, if you have to and if he is able, go with Oakes for an inning or until he can't go anymore, and then Lucas for an inning, and then Michael Pauly the rest of the way.
If they can keep the bats going, they will be tough to beat!
