Back to page topWell, they do crown more than one champion in each sport (depending on school size and class). It might be kind of cool to see some of the small-school state champions face off against the big-school champions, but I think each school that wins their class deserves their title of state champs.
So let's say a team plays in...
Back to page topSo let's say a team plays in Brandon's Fantasy State Tournament. They win the Class 2A state championship. Then, they could go on to face a bigger school to try to win the true-championship format, earning the title among their own size of school first but also adding the chance to complete an upset?

Back to page topThat would be pretty cool. It would give some great bragging rights to any team that scored an upset, and it would crown a true state champion team. And any team that lost in the final inter-class battle could be content in knowing that they were the best school of their size in the state.
