OK, with all the talk of Star Wars, Brandon brought up that his personal Lucas fave is Indiana Jones.
So what are your Indiana Jones memories.
-Favorite Parts?
-Favorite movie?
-What worked well?
-What didn't work well?
I would have to say that the two things that stick out in my mind from Indiana Jones is:
-The original was just great, such originality (something that is missing from movies these days). The story, it was great.
-The little guy in Temple of Doom. "Doctor Jones.." Loved the way he talked.
- And maybe my fave is in the final one when they have to select the cup and Indy picks the wood, non-ornamental one. "You have chosen...wisely."

The scene that will always stick in my mind is in Temple of Doom, when the witch doctor dude pulls the guys heart out and its still beating. Not saying its the best scene, but the most memorable.
I would love to be a real-life Indiana Jones. How cool would that be. Although, I don't think I have the money to travel around the earth like that...or the knowledge...or the courage.
Kind of along the same lines, did anyone see the National Treasure movie. I liked that one a lot. The history (albeit sometimes fictional) is interesting. There is a new one coming out in a few weeks. Got to see that one.

I grew up wanting to be Indiana Jones, and now that I’m an adult, not much has changed. Everything about Indy – his swagger, his gloebtrotting adventures, his fear of snakes, his ability to fly but not land a plane – is awesome.
My favorite of the movies is actually “Radiers,” and I’ll tell you why. I grew up loving “Last Crusade” more than any of the other movies. It has, after all, Sallah, Sean Connery, ******, and knights. Plus, it had that awesome boat chase sequence and the tank v. horse chase sequence. Great movie, right?
Well I’m not arguing that, but I will argue that all the iconic Indy moments really happened in the first movie – the boulder, the switching of a bag of sand for the fertility idol, the fear of snakes. Plus, it had the best girl (Marion Ravenwood was really the only good foil for Indy), and the ending of “Raiders” has to be one of the best moving endings of all time.
And a lot of people don’t like “Temple of Doom” nearly as much as the other two, but I think it’s right up there in terms of quality and story.
My favorite secondary Indy character is Sallah. My favorite sequence is the opening of “Raiders,” in which Indy has to collect the idol and then escape from Belloq and the natives.
Oh, and I can’t wait for “Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls” in May. I already have the day off.
