Speaking of spending time outside enjoying the snow, I got a pretty sweet set of cross country skis for Christmas this year. Anyone have any suggestions on where the best place to use them might be?

Everyone, including Editors, (or especially Editors) have the experience of sending out what they think are important words of wisdom and getting little or no response. Kinda a 'blah' reaction. Sort of like "Hollering down the rain barrel", ... and the echo says "Ain't nobody here but us chickens". We, like it or not, got a War and an Election going on. All that tends to distract and to remind us . . . We ain't got it too bad after all.
