I’m only five days away from the biggest change I’ve ever experienced in my life. My fiancée Molly and I are getting married in less than a week. She’s been busy working on all the last minute details that I’m sure I would forget – things like seating charts and name tags.
I’ve been given a list of things from her that I need to work on, and I’ll be checking those activities off when I head home after work over the next couple of nights. But I still have this sinking feeling that I’m probably forgetting something. Maybe that’s just because it’s such an important day with lots of little things to remember. Or maybe that’s because I’m actually forgetting lots of things.
Anyone who’s been married before care to help me out? Does this mean I’m actually forgetting things, or does it mean I’m just worrying too much?

Back to page topWhen you are nervous, it is easy to forget things. Write down a to-do list and check them off when done. It is the only way to go.
When I got married, I had a clipboard with my list on it. For the last few days, the list was divided among my sisters to get it all done. All my fiance' at the time had to do was get his tux, and get to the church on time.
Thanks for the good advice....
Back to page topThanks for the good advice. I think Molly (my fiancée) has a list already, and she gave me a list of things to do. I’ve been slowly crossing them off as I go, but I should make a list of my own so I don’t forget.
