Six months ago, I broke my watch. Last week, I got it fixed. It felt like a phantom limb regenerating when I returned it to my wrist for the first time.
I usually take my watch off for the summer to avoid that sexy watch band tan and I have yet to start wearing it again. That doesn't stop me from looking at my wrist a couple times a day to see what time it is, though!
I broke my watch in June and didn’t wear it for the rest of the summer, but the sun I did get in June was enough for me to have the tan throughout the summer anyway. The problem is, now I’m forgetting that I have the watch on. I’ll look at my cell phone for the time, and I dig out a calendar to find out the date (which is displayed on my watch).
