Our Hunted Weekend….Day 2

After a very tasty breakfast, everyone gathered in the back yard relaxing, having our coffee and discussing their experiences at the Holt house. The spirits seem to like Mary and had only showed themselves once to her. However, will have a verity of friends and family who will visit and spend the night over. They are the ones who seem to have the unusual experiences. It will be from strange noises to seeing dark misty shapes to smelling breakfast cooking in the middle of the night.

Day 1

The shadowman made another appearance again at my house. He must have known I was going to a home to over see a cleansing. That’s why he showed up.

It was a few days before my appointment with Sally and Harley’s. I was gathering the items that I will need, making sure the batteries have been charged and replaced as needed.

It had a long day and I was tired. I had to wake up early the next day for work and it was already late when I decided it was time to go to bed. I started to walk around the house, turning off the lights and making sure that all the doors are locked.

For many of us we are not aware that spirits resides with us. They will live in the background and enjoy the activities the living residents do such as parties and watching tv, listening to music. Has anyone remembered watching “The Christmas Carol” ? Scrooge at one time was at a party and he was enjoying himself watching everyone have a good time. Once in a while a person will find a spirit in the house that will interact with them. This is what Harley and Sally found in their home.

All of our cases are unique. For me each one is a learning experience. Some of these cases are harder to write about then others. This is a case that involved a few of the many innocent children that walk in the spirit world.

I have been invited to give a lecture/class about ghost hunting at the Holt House this Saturday in Granite Falls

We also will be demonstrating how we use our equipment, including the thermo camera.

I am looking forward to it. It should be interesting.

It was a cold rainy day when I pull up in front of the old jail annex building in Mudbaden, just outside of Jordan. I haven’t been feeling well in the past few weeks and the gloomy weather hadn’t picked up my spirits very much.

As I sat in my car over looking the building I was reminded of the e mails I received about this building. I even was stopped at the store and was told about this building and the activities that went on. As I observed the building the strongest impression was that of an old person.

A very generous person donated a Thermo camera to our group. We are very grateful for this person’s generosity. This camera will be a great asset to our group in upcoming cases.

Last night we were on a case in Hutchinson, We had our thermo camera with us. We are still going over all the photos and recordings we but I wanted to tell you about the thermo camera and what we saw.

Now that I am working I have not had a chance to walk on the wild side like I would like to. I come home from work to late and Minnesota’s state bird, the Mosquitoes are out in drones and just the idea of walking in the woods would be fool hearty.

It has been a wild spring for Minnesota, cold and wet. And now it’s warmer but it is still wet and the projects that I have wanted to try this year has been beckoning me to start no matter how the weather was.
