Now that I’m married and sharing a bed with my wife, I have an irrational fear that I might accidentally punch her in the face in the middle of the night. I toss and turn a lot while I sleep – sometimes violently.
You remember that episode of “Seinfeld” during which George hires Jerry’s cabinet guy to turn his desk into a bed? I’m pretty tired today at work, and I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t already realized that there is enough extra space under by desk to make a very comfortable bed.
And the white noise created by my extremely loud and relatively outdated computer could lull me to sleep in seconds.
I haven’t been sleeping well lately. Last night, I was really cold before I went to bed, so I turned on a space heater and my electric mattress pad. Then I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. It’s the second night in a row that I’ve been tossing and turning.
Sunday night (or Monday morning, I’m not sure) I even got up at some point, ripped a drawer out of my dresser, and put on a pair of socks from that drawer. I have a vague recollection of doing this, but absolutely no recollection as to why I did it.
Went to “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” last night at 10:45 p.m. Got home at 2 a.m. Woke up for work at 6:15 a.m.
I’m tired today.
I didn’t sleep very well last night. I re-watched the season finale of "Lost," and I had some weird dreams.
I hate it that a TV show could keep me up.
Who says Jordan is a sleepy, little town?!?
I'm amazed at the numbers of people who are up in the middle of the night and checking this Web site for news. I love it.
