I've been goofing around on Facebook for a few months, making "friends" (who are really already my friends, or else they're randomly long-lost acquaintances) and such.

It's a time waster, for the most part.

But I was feeling a bit down today (finances can be a struggle), and when I took a break to go to Facebook, I got the pick-me-up I needed.

Here’s the nuts and bolts – a girl named Alexa Rodriguez (nickname A-Rod) was attacked by a hawk who lives in Fenway Park.

Apparently even the birds of Boston hate the Yankees.

My wonderful future wife and I were talking about our senses of humor last night. There are definitely some common points that both of us find funny, but we also vary greatly in our respective tastes.

For instance, we both agree that “Full House” is never funny, unless in an unintentional way because it is so corny. We also both laugh out loud at “The Cosby Show” and “Elf.”

I haven’t been sleeping well lately. Last night, I was really cold before I went to bed, so I turned on a space heater and my electric mattress pad. Then I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. It’s the second night in a row that I’ve been tossing and turning.

Sunday night (or Monday morning, I’m not sure) I even got up at some point, ripped a drawer out of my dresser, and put on a pair of socks from that drawer. I have a vague recollection of doing this, but absolutely no recollection as to why I did it.

I went to pour myself some water from the office water cooler today, and I discovered a pin-sized hole in the side of my cup.

Sure, “Bourne Ultimatum” was the hot ticket at the box office this weekend, and I do really want to see that flick.

Not three minutes ago, I got a really good idea for something to write. Seconds after I opened Microsoft Word to start writing, my mind went blank.

I had a blast at the Celebrate Jordan event trying to stump visitors with Jordan trivia - well, it was April Fools Day!
