The Minnesota Twins are making a few moves this offseason. Here's what's happened:
In today's Star Tribune, Minnesota Twins outfielder Torii Hunter talked about feeling a little like he did in 2003 yesterday, after a four-game sweep of the Oakland Athletics.
It was nice to see the Twinkies win one last night.
Ron Gardenhire played the Strib this week -- at least, I think so.
Hey, at least after 3-1/2 hours, they're still playing.
I was wondering why the skip didn't pinch hit Mauer in that heart-breaking 4-3 loss yesterday.
Lock 'em up. That's whatcha gotta do.
Is the race for American League batting championship going to come down to Joe Mauer versus Justin Morneau?
Ha! Ha! Ha! you might think to yourself, but it could happen.
Morneau's batting average is rising like the water in Sand Creek in April, and opposing pitchers like the gutless Oaklanders continue to walk Mauer like a dog on a leash in Lagoon Park.
