Board approves early graduationJanuary 15, 2008 - 6:34pm — BrandonThe Jordan School Board approved an early graduation request by a Jordan High School senior who will be studying at Wyoming Tech next year and who already found a job in Wyoming. Jordan High School Principal Mark Ruggeberg is not a big proponent of students graduating early, but he said the student had met the requirements set forth by the district and the state. High school starts professional groupJanuary 15, 2008 - 6:24pm — BrandonJordan High School is starting a professional library and a professional readings group for staff development, according to principal Mark Ruggeberg’s report to the Jordan School Board Monday. The idea for the library and the group was brought up by the staff, Ruggeberg wrote in his report, and will begin Jan. 21. Ruggeberg, who is the district administrator in charge of staff development, has been attending workshops on online learning so that the staff of the district will be able to work on continuing education credits in online courses.
