Until it was forced on me as part of my job, I was never a blogger. Barely knew what the word meant.
But the truth is, it's pretty fun. I like blogging for these reasons:
- I get my opinion out in the public.
- Online discussions can be extremely interesting, and a lot of the time a blog can start a good discussion. Just search for "Highway 282," "Benko," "Hennen," or "roundabout" to see some of the talks that are going on.
If I owned a business, I would make sure that I had a blog on this Web site.
This Web site is looking for bloggers.
And if you already have one, you don't have to start a new one.
Hey there, members of www.jordannews.com online groups. You should be blogging.
That's what those groups are made for -- discussions.
I found another blog that mentions Jordan. Check out a few nice nighttime photos of the Heimatfest Car Cruise.

Check out the Drury family's day at the Sponsel's Minnesota Harvest Orchard in St. Lawrence Township.

Here's a blog you might want to check out. Tim Havlik, 26, writes about his new church in Jordan, his wedding and himself. He says he new to this whole blogging thing, but he's excited about it.
This blogger self-nicknamed Minnesota Guy obviously has some Shakopee, Belle Plaine, Jordan and Mankato connections. He shot some really nice photos of the Lagoon Park waterfall and some other Jordan area places.
