Sound Off: Sellouts or Savvy?

If I were a jingle writer for TV ads, I’d be a little worried about my job security. You may have noticed more and more bands and artists gracing TV ads with their songs over the last few years, and they’re not just shilling for iPods. There are lots of car ads and other products that seem to be stacking up rocks’ heavy hitters like records in a jukebox.

This Jordan Hubmen baseball highlight has got to be a new record. In the game against Triton, the school's first win in a state tourney, three players chased after a foul ball and all of them lost their hats.

As you can hear from most of my highlight videos, it was indeed a windy day. And they must've been running really fast, too.

When I was in high school, I started collecting records. I’m a big fan of the Who, The Beatles, Eric Clapton and all sorts of other bands that just sound better coming through vinyl and a needle. I figured the coolest thing would be to have a jukebox to round out my already sweet musical collection.
