It is beautiful outside right now. I love snow. As long as it has to be cold during the winter, there better be some snow on the ground.

It's a bad sign when the city starts hiring snowplow drivers.

That means winter is coming.

"When you flooding the hockey rink?" asked Jeremy Goebel during a Jordan City Council meeting tonight.

While the snowfall in Jordan closed schools and caused problems with sports schedules, it was a beautiful sight to see Thursday morning.

Yesirree, bobcat. It's snowing and it ain't stopping. I guess I don't mind. We're due for a snowstorm anyway.

A rewritten press release from the St. Paul Winter Carnival, where I will be hunting for treasure this winter:

The St. Paul Winter Carnival is proud to kick off the festival season with the 2007 winter carnival button unveiling and kids button bash on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory. 

I really appreciated working with Gil Hartmann on a story for Southwest Saturday. His enthusiasm for the Heimatfest medallion hunt in Jordan is inspiring.
