At the Baden house, our Halloween tradition is emptying out our cupboards and giving goodies out to trick-or-treaters from the neighborhood.
The Heimatfest parade just ended. A parade in town is about getting outside, seeing your neighbors, promoting things that are good for the welfare of the town, and candy.
There is a festive pink bucket on the corner of my desk this morning. I didn’t put it there, but whoever did filled it with jellybeans. I can’t stand it.
I was walking through the store the other day, and I passed by the aisle of Halloween candy. I stopped, considered my options, and chose to walk by without picking a bag of candy.
Of course, I’ll be back before Halloween. I can’t help myself.
