Our pets sometimes need surgery just like we do. The good news is that veterinary medicine has really advanced in the area of surgery, so much so that pets are often treated similarly to people. Did you see the first annual Pet Bragger special section that ran in Southwest Saturday-Jordan/Belle Plaine last weekend?

The section featured more than 50 photographs of pets -- dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, and even a calf -- that were submitted by pet owners in the Southwest Metro area. In addition, nearly 20 businesses that provide products and services for pet owners in the Southwest Metro were presented.

It's pretty difficult to search for mentions of Jordan the cute, little city on the Internet, even though they are out there.

Of course, we get a ton of mentions of Jordan the country.

So I think it would be cool if users of this site would help pick out the interesting things concerning Jordan that appear on the Web.
