Everyone has an album or a song (a guilty pleasure, so to speak) that you wouldn't want your friends to find out you enjoy listening to. One example for me is Stripped by Christina Aguilera. A perfectly good album, but to some of my acquaintances a purchase I should be very ashamed of. I'll also admit to groovin' to Bon Jovi, The Outfield, Night Ranger and Britney Spears in my van when I come across them on the radio. I've admitted my shameful music moments - now it's your turn. What music do you secretly love? What songs do you crank up sing along with when you're all alone in the car? Come on admit it - you're safe here - no one will judge you.

The problem with my "guilty...
Back to page topThe problem with my "guilty pleasure" music is that i readily admit having bad taste in music (and being stuck in a time warp). i had a print out of the lyrics to Copa Cabana hanging in my cube for a few years ... everytime i looked at them i got a huge smile on my face and chair-danced as the song played in my head. (now, that part is emabarassing to admit)
Cracklin Rosie, get on...
Back to page topCracklin Rosie, get on board... I LOVE me a little Neil Diamond and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Back to page topLast night I succumbed to the Diamond – I bought a three-CD set of Neil’s first solo recordings. In my defense, it was used, and it is awesome. “I am, I said,” addicted.
I kinda like the soundtrack...
Back to page topI kinda like the soundtrack of “Xanadu,” with songs by Olivia Newton-John and Electric Light Orchestra. Aw, heck, I’ll come right out and say it – I like pretty much all of the output of the synth-heavy ELO, regardless of how powerfully uncool it makes me. And Newton-John isn't always bad, either.
Duran Duran was another band...
Back to page topDuran Duran was another band really locked into the synth/'80s sound, not to mention to the over-the-top fashion style of the time, but for some reason they sound better to me now than 20-plus years ago. But I wouldn't want my friends to know that.
