The following are Scott County District Court felony and gross-misdemeanor dispositions. Defendants either pleaded guilty or were found guilty by the court unless otherwise indicated.
Robert Glen Kehren, 22, Savage, driving while intoxicated (DWI), a gross-misdemeanor. Two years’ probation, 45 days in jail (concurrent to previous sentence), abstain from alcohol, random tests, restitution, $380 in fines. Obstruction of legal process, a misdemeanor. One year probation.
Here's what's been going on in and around New Prague lately, according to the New Prague Times:
- An 1880s log cabin was moved from rural New Prague to Jackson Hole, Wyo., to become the front foyer of a home in a large housing development. Ray Moran sold the cabin, which was dismantled and then reconstructed out West.
- Anthony Klauseus of Belle Plaine pleaded guilty to second-degree
manslaughter for shooting his son while hunting wild turkeys. His
sentence is 30 days in jail and 10 years of probation.
