The Jordan Brewers finish Section 3B pool play tonight with a 7:30 p.m. game at Prior Lake.
With a 2-1 record, the Brewers have alread clinched a spot in the Section 3B final four.
Even though the tonight's game means nothing to the Brewers the game still means a lot to Prior Lake and Shakopee.
If the Brewers win, they eliminate Prior Lake from the playoffs and gives the Shakopee Indians the fourth and final spot in the final four.
I was a Ken Griffey Jr. fan until five minutes ago, when I checked ESPN.com's story about him being traded to the hated Chicago White Sox.
It's over. The Twins playoff chances are nill. Say goodbye.
This hired gun, Griffey, is a difference maker. The Twins are in big, big trouble. You think the White Sox hit a lot of home runs? Well, add to the lineup one of the best homer hitters and see how many more homers the others in the lineup get just because they're going to see better pitches.
Combining households is not easy. I’ve been in the process of combining everything I own with everything my fiancée Molly owns, and I’m sorry to say that we have too much stuff.
I know we both like to think of ourselves as generally not consumer driven. She likes to live a generally simple and spare life as far as decorating and household items is concerned, and I try to keep my purchases to a minimum. But we still have too much stuff.

I wanted to let everyone know that three major-selling pop-rock bands are coming to Southdale Center and Maplewood Mall on Aug. 16th and 17th: A Cursive Memory, Your Vegas, and Kate Voegele. They’re performing FREE concerts at those malls as part of a national tour put on by the malls’ owner, Simon Property Group. The concert starts at 2 pm on the 16th and 3 pm on the 17th.
Jordan Public Schools are about to get a little more computer friendly.
The Jordan School Board voted this week to begin a three-year lease of 65 new computers. The lease is the first step in a plan proposed to the board by the district’s technology committee.
The first year of the plan calls for a commitment of $35,631.60 from the district. The money will be used to pay for one year of the three-year computer lease, as well as several auxiliary technology costs. Those extra costs include servers and additional memory for the computers already in the district.
